RIM Chapter 61 verses 1-5

The year of the Lord’s Favor

In Hebrew, the word “year” is expressed by sana-pronounced-shaw-naw, precisely sana means “a revolution of time” or “cycle of time”. In a concrete sense, a year is conceived as a complete orbit, revolution or cycle of the earth around the sun.

upside down
Outsiders (non-Israelite interlopers) have turned everything in Jehovah’s vineyard (Israel’s people) upside-down.

In a metaphorical sense, the word “year” represents a radical-change; a rebellion; a revolution;  a metamorphosis or an upset or upheaval. This chapter , like several which have preceded it, points to a radical and entirely deliberate (calculated on the part of her top-priesthood leadership), revolution (coup d’etat; unlawful takeover)  regarding Israel’s ways (religious customs; modes of worship; culture) toward Jehovah. As it stands today, everything,  related to Israel’s worship of and relationship with Jehovah,  has been turned-upside-down (become confused. turned chaotic; become disordered; become disorganized; put out of order).  Israel’s presiding Melchizedek Priesthood Authorities have put on a “false front” , wishing to do injury, i.e. “dissemble”. Their strategy is: “to pretend (speak and act so as to make it appear that something is happening,  when in fact, it is not; profess) to help Israel’s People (rank and file Mormons) , while stabbing them in the back.” Since the official  organization of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints on April 6,1830, The powerful multi-generational alliance of covetous non-Israelite men has enthusiastically labored to accomplish three goals (1) marginalize Israel’s people, (2) steal Israel’s inherent right to govern (“birthright”) and (3) supplant Israel’s people as authorized messengers of God (prophets) .  Mormonism’s presiding Melchizedek Priesthood Authorities in Salt Lake City are not the authorized messengers they claim to be.  Salt Lake’s prophets are false; its seers are blind; and its revelators are hiding a dark and gloomy secret.

1. The spirit of God is upon me because I’ve been anointed by Jehovah, having in mind a particular “work” (activity involving mental or physical effort done in order to achieve a purpose ) regarding (with respect to) “bringing the message” (announcing the “good-news”; carrying the glad-tidings; ushering in joyful news) of leniency (mercy; sympathy;relief; kindness) to the poor and afflicted of Israel’s People to  “extend a hand” to my generation of Israel’s people in order to bind (fasten; secure) the allegiance (faithfulness; obedience loyalty) of   this generation of Israel’s broken-hearted people to proclaim regarding the free-flow of Israel’s people who have been taken captive and regarding Salt Lake’s Priesthood Melchizedek leadership which is supplanting Israel’s people – liberation!

FYI – Historically , the receiving of news by a messenger extends back to ancient times. Before the advent of modern postal services and ,of course, telephone and email communication, news was hand-delivered by messengers (runners) . Basar (to bring news)  is a neutral verb, but the additional modifier “good’ or “bad” makes all the difference in the world to the recipient. “Good news”, in general, was hoped for in times of war because the person to whom the good news was carried was under great psychic (mental) tension. Recipients of tidings were hoping for “glad-tidings” (news that the battle is turning in their favor or that a loved one still lives to eventually return home) In this particular chapter of Isaiah the effect of news-proclamation reaches its zenith. In his own interpretation of his mission, Isaiah the prophet, sees his primary task  lebhasser ‘anavim  “bringing good tidings to the afflicted”. Here,  the verb is absolute and can denote ONLY a saving message for the oppressed and poor…not a neutral message!  The proclamation of a word of salvation, and thus a “joyful message of God”, is a primary element of the “work”(indictment) drawn-up (prepared as a draft or version) by Isaiah, the prophet, along with the healing, liberating, comforting, saving, etc, the indictment ( formal charge or accusation of a serious crime, itself, is a saving event. The proclamation (indictment) prepared by the prophet must be understood as an announcement which also gives rise to (causes; induces) “that which is proclaimed” In other words, with the announcement of “glad-tidings”, the fulfillment begins. Jehovah is both present and active in “His Word”. In Greek, the verb  “evanggelion”,  means: to evangelize; to announce the gospel (good news; glad-tidings) or “preach the gospel”.

revolution 2
Revolution has two meanings: (1) a complete  orbit or rotation around the sun or   (2) a successful overthrow or coup d’etat. (literally,  “a blow against the state” ; an illegal take-over or seizure of government)

2. Proclaim (publish; broadcast; trumpet; announce)  a  “year” (revolution; coup d’etat) regarding,  who is  worthy (deserving) of Jehovah’s favor (grace; salvation and blessing)  and the “Day-of-Vengeance” (“Era of Retaliation”) for the God of Israel’s people.

3. To bring “good news” to the mourners (bereaved persons; grievers) of Zion,   brought about by LDS General Authorities who are subtly  (imperceptibly) coercing (prodding; pushing urging)  Israel’s people to exemplify (embody; typify; epitomize) the arrogance  (pride; self-importance; egocentric-thinking;  narcissism;  vanity; vainglory; snobbery) of Melchizedek Priesthood Authorities instead of  the “ashes” (humility of Israel); the “fat” (tastiest; the richest; the best;the finest) of “pleasure” (self-satisfaction) instead of lowliness; the clothing of praise instead of sackcloth (a token of mourning)  and boast (brag; swagger; talk with excessive pride and self-satisfaction) while referring to themselves as “Oaks of Righteousness”, (the precious plants of Jehovah),  so they may show-off (make a pretentious display of)  their Melchizedek Priesthood  “tiara” (small bejeweled crown that is worn by men who lack moral-bravery) .

Re-energizing wasted people and spreading desolation from generation to generation!

4. And restore (bring- back ; reinstate)  “ruins” , i.e. bring-back the eternal desolation of their own forefathers (ancestors) – to impulsively (acting or done without forethought) rise them from their graves, and renew (re-energize) multitudes (groups; crowds; assemblages; throngs; hordes; gangs; swarms; ) of wasted (useless; worthless) people and spread desolation from generation to  generation.

5. And sustain (strengthen; help; assist;support) aliens (non-Israelites; foreigners; strangers) who are shepherding (guiding; leading;  steering) your entire flock, and sons (descendants; subjects) of non-Israelite interlopers (intruders; gate-crashers), all of whom are now your husbandmen ( managers; custodians; overseers; taskmasters) and your vine (family ; lineage;  bloodline; dynasty) dressers (leaders who arrange vines in an exclusively-Mormon-way; course; custom of development).
