* ArielImage result for attacking lions gif-The name Ariel consists of two parts:
(1) The first part comes from the Hebrew noun聽讗专讬聽(‘”ari”), meaning; lions or “gatherers” from the verb聽讗专讛聽(‘ara), ( to collect, to gather).
Lions were known as “gatherers” because,聽 as the greatest of predators, they gathered (drove; corralled)聽 herds together and favored the natural selection of herd behavior. Ancient Israelites who traveled with the herds may have realized that the “Center of the Herd” was the safest place to be, which may have led to the formation of a central compound within a larger fenced-in flock.聽聽The verb聽讗专讛聽(‘ara) appears to be related in form to the verb聽讗专专聽(‘arar), which originally meant to “bind” but came to mean: (to curse or to bind someone with a spell).
(2) The final-segment聽讗诇聽(‘el), refers to聽讗诇讛讬诐聽(‘Elohim), or God.

Then, there’s this…

Image result for altar hearthAriel –聽
a cultic object in Ezekiel 43:15鈥16, where it occurs in the forms聽ariel聽and聽harel. This is apparently an聽聽altar-hearth superimposed upon the base of the altar, having horns at its four corners. Alternatively, it may be viewed as the top two sections of a three-tiered altar, again with the function of a hearth.
聽Three principal modes of interpretation have been proposed: (a) from聽ari-el, “lion of God” or “Gatherers of reat Lion.” This is the most probable derivation for the personal name in Ezra; (b) from a posited root聽ari, “to burn,” with聽lamed聽afformative, thus meaning “hearth,” similar to the Arabic 士iratun, “hearth”; and (c) as a loanword from the聽Akkadianarall没-, the name for the netherworld and allegedly the world mountain. (In this view the altar is understood as a miniature ziggurat, which is taken to be the symbol of the world mountain.) However,聽arall没聽does not mean “mountain.” In addition, the Akkadian, a loanword from Sumerian, would have not shown up in Hebrew in the form attested. Regardless of the ultimate derivation of the word, the meaning of Isaiah 29:1鈥2 seems to be that Jerusalem, (the latter day headquarters of illegitimate authority and teachings) here (prophetically?) called Ariel, is to become like the altar, i.e., the scene of a holocaust.

*Watchers. They first appear on the scene in Sumer. 鈥淪humer鈥, it seems, literally means the 鈥淟and of the Watchers鈥. Mankind worshipped the Watchers as gods. Carl Sagan once remarked, “We still have no clear perspective about the origins of the Sumerian culture. Their language is foreign; it shows no resemblance to Indo-European, Semitic or any other language. We can only map them by the actions of their successors, the Akkadians, who created a voluminous Sumerian-Akkadian dictionary.鈥澛
The Chaldeans referred to the Watchers as 鈥淚r鈥(iyr) . In ancient Egyptian,聽鈥渘eter鈥 means “Watcher”. The Watchers are also in the Bible, where, in Genesis 6:1-4, they are listed as the “Sons of gods” (direct descendants of divine or supernatural-beings) who rebelled against Jehovah enmass, then, descended from heaven, mated with mortal women, and sired children. They were mistakenly described as 鈥済iants鈥 (Latin-gigantis) , though the physical size of their fathers is not what they are describing, but rather, they were describing their father’s superhuman prowess, though it is not stated directly . These super human beings did not sleep and they possessed absolutely no human moral-sensibilities (consciences)聽
Star Wars Reaction GIF by Hyper RPGThe Bible refers to the Watchers or Grigori as 鈥渆vil鈥. They were the ones who 鈥渇ell from Gods grace (favor)聽and from heaven, then, because their super-natural penises they became聽 “hot” (lustful)聽 for the flesh of women.
In this respect, they sit within the tradition of Lucifer, the leader of the Fallen Angels, who was cast down to Earth. Could the leader of the Watchers and the biblical Lucifer be one and the same? The Koran has a similar story, though the strict good vs. evil of the Bible has been toned down.
Two angels, Harut and Marut, watch the actions of Mankind and note that Mankind seems to be unable to escape temptation and sin. The angels鈥 critical comments were heard by God, who said to both of them, “You two knuckleheads shouldn’t speak of Mankind in such manner. If angels were placed in an identical situation, their behaviour would be similar”.
Not surprisingly, Harut and Marut聽take this rebuke as an open-invitation from God and immediately they packed their carry-on luggage for the Earth. God asked聽 (demanded) that they are only permitted to watch (observe; witness) humans and are prohibited from interfering with the human race in any way and becoming involved with the gravest of sins: murder, worship of the wrong deities, drunkenness and unlawful sexual relationships.
But that didn’t last long. These angels just arrived and before they put their suitcases down,聽 they are lustful for mortal women. As soon as they could, they seduce and mate with the most desireable women.聽 When a passer-by sees (witnesses)聽 their lighthearted sexual escapades (exploits; capers) involving excitement and daring,聽 Harut聽and聽Marut聽 killed him, so that no-one will be able to report their sin. But God鈥檚 Eye (purview) is everywhere and God makes sure that Harut’s聽and聽Marut’s 198聽colleagues who descended to Earth (other Watchers)“Get the Picture” (get the point; get the idea; understand)聽. Because Harut聽and聽Marut failed聽in their assignment they are hung upside down in a water hole in Babylon, a punishment they preferred over Hell. At the same time,聽other Watchers(their colleages who came to Earth with them …198 to be exact)聽have to agree with God about his point of view concerning the difficulties of being a human-being.
It seems that this story is twofold: to demomstrate once and for all,聽 what is right and what is wrong, but also to teach rebelliosly-inclined angels in Heaven some respect for Mankind and the real challenges of being a human-being. The Nephilim continued to live on Earth. It seems that their biggest contribution on Earth has been and remains the聽 creation of “Chaos” (unrest; lawlessness; trouble).
Most ancient civilizations had a major fascination with “order vs. chaos, good vs. evil”. Evil creates chaos and thus you have Nephilim (“Fallen Ones”) , who were the offspring of the “Watchers” (Disgraced Angels) .聽 They, obviously,聽 displayed their fathers鈥 faults. This inevitably led聽 God to send a Deluge (the Flood) in order to wash away the sinfulness of these dreadful beings. Here, we find another parallel with the story of Harut and Marut: they are also 鈥渨ashed of their sins鈥 in the water hole in Babylon. Water as the cleanser of sin is therefore chosen for both 鈥 as opposed to a 鈥渂aptism by fire鈥.
cary elwes for my anon GIFStill, Jewish history suggests that not all Nephilim perished. The Jews stated that from time to time they lived amidst聽(in the vicinity of)聽 Israel’s people.聽 The Anakim (leaders; men who function as plumb-lines; men who decide who & what is Upright) and the聽Rephaim (ancient people of Canaan; subjugators) were both descended from聽 Nephilim. This is why Jehovah commanded Joshua to completely exterminate every man ,woman, child, as well as livestock among the Canaanites, when Israel entered the Promised land.
Image result for six fingered handThere remained a few Nephilim who fought in some of the battles, but they slowly seemed to have disappeared from the scene. Perhaps they married and their unique characteristic(six toes and six fingers)聽disappeared within the larger genetic pool.
The story of Watchers fell in disrespect(disfavor) within the leadership of the Catholic Church, who wanted to portray Heaven as only “Good and Perfect” ,聽 whereas the Watchers were all too “troublesome and imperfect”, it seemed, to neatly fit within Rome’s portrayal. The Book of Enoch, which provides great detail about the Watchers, wasn’t even included in the Bible. Its substitute was the patchy(incomplete; vague; superficial; cursory) Apocalypse of John, where there are no references, whatsoever, to Watchers mating with human women. Still, some references remained. In Daniel (4:13, 17 and 23) they appear, even making an appearance in front of the king.聽Nephilim are still upon the Earth. They have recovered and have re-established their tyrannical control over the human race.

*聽“Mormon-Speak”-Mormon leaders use the word 鈥渙pportunity鈥 far too often. Priesthood leaders used to come around saying, 鈥淒id you have the opportunity to do your home teaching this month?鈥 And I鈥檇 respond truthfully:Image result for verbal diarrhea gif聽鈥淵es, I had the opportunity.鈥 Heck, I had lots of opportunities. That doesn鈥檛 mean I did it. But that鈥檚 not what they asked, and I like the idea of using someone else鈥檚 poor syntax to dodge the issue.聽(I am counting on that question at the Pearly Gates are similarly vague).
The other way we use 鈥渙pportunity鈥 is when we want to express having done something, but we want to use a lot of words to say it, possibly because we think we are being paid by the syllable. When giving a talk in church, never say in two minutes what can be said just as easily in five.聽 It might be a humility thing, too. Saying, 鈥淚 went to the moon鈥 sounds boastful. But 鈥淚 had the opportunity to go to the moon鈥 has the subtext of, 鈥淭his was through no fault of my own, I assure you, and I鈥檓 really lucky to have gone.鈥澛 This subtext is particularly clear if you say it in a spiritual tone of voice.
And by 鈥渟piritual,鈥 of course,聽 I mean 鈥渜uiet.鈥 If you whisper when you talk, you are somehow conveying spirituality. Conversely, it is impossible to be spiritual if you speak in a normal tone of voice. Using a loud voice is downright wrong, and if you yell, it鈥檚 the same as having Satan deliver your sermon for you. Saying, 鈥淚 had the opportunity to go鈥 instead of 鈥淚 went鈥 is a waste of words, certainly. But sometimes Mormons conserve energy, too, and use a kind of verbal shorthand.聽 A few of these are already well-established. For instance, everyone knows that if a woman has a 鈥渟weet spirit,鈥 that鈥檚 code for聽鈥渟he鈥檚 as ugly as Janet Reno,鈥聽and if a man is a 鈥渘ice guy,鈥 that鈥檚 code for聽鈥渉e鈥檚 as ugly as Janet Reno.鈥聽And Orson Scott Card, the famed author of science-fiction and other children鈥檚 stories, once pointed out to me that among Mormons, 鈥渉umble鈥 means 鈥減roud.鈥澛(鈥淚 am really humbled at being named People鈥檚 Sexiest Man Alive.鈥).聽 I am grateful for the opportunity to show you some more examples I鈥檝e compiled:
鈥渟hare鈥 = 鈥渕ake you listen to鈥 (鈥淚鈥檇 like to share a story.鈥)
鈥渟pecial鈥 = any adjective with a positive connotation; indicates the speaker has warm feelings but lacks the vocabulary to express them (鈥淚t was a special experience.鈥) (See also: 鈥渃hoice鈥)
鈥渂rethren鈥 (pronounced 鈥渂roth-ern鈥) = 鈥渆veryone here, including women鈥
鈥渟truggling鈥 as in 鈥淏rother So-and-So is 鈥榮truggling鈥 with some things right now鈥 = 鈥淵ou wouldn鈥檛 believe how much porn Brother So-and-So has downloaded.鈥
鈥淵oung Men鈥檚 program鈥 = 鈥淏oy Scouts of America鈥
鈥渓ess active鈥 = 鈥渘ot the least bit active鈥
鈥淒emocrat鈥 = 鈥渓ess active鈥
鈥淲ord of Wisdom鈥 = 鈥渄on鈥檛 drink or smoke鈥
鈥渋nappropriate鈥 = 鈥淚 personally don鈥檛 approve of that, and I鈥檓 sure no one else does, either.鈥
鈥渘ot very Christlike鈥 = 鈥淚 personally don鈥檛 approve of that, and I鈥檓 sure Jesus doesn鈥檛, either.鈥
鈥渄iverse鈥 = 鈥渟ome non-Mormons are there, too鈥
鈥渂e tolerant鈥 = 鈥減retend you don鈥檛 hate gay people鈥
鈥淚 am being tried and tested鈥 =, 鈥淚 think God has it in for me鈥
