Reading Isaiah’s Mind – Chapter 6 – verses 7-13

7.  Then the seraph brought a curse (struck a blow ) against my mouth (voice; opinions feelings; priorities; requests; point of view; ) in keeping with a command he’d been given, so the Seraph said (declared; boasted) Behold (Here’s something kinda funny?)  This new turn of events touches (puts hands on; puts some pressure on;  acts-upon; impacts; effects in a morally-lousy way; damns; strikes a blow against; invokes a curse-upon) your foreordained-place (your-foreordination; your-appointment; your-anointing:   your-consecration; the holy-ordersImage result for stupid person gif conferred upon you) while a  personification-of-evil (an-embodiment-of-depravity; an-epitome of perversity) dwells with you (cohabits with you; lives with you; shares an address with you) and points-out (directs attention-to)  all of your short-comings (sins; faults; flaws; defects; deficiencies). My Melchizedek Priesthood Authority covers (expiates; pardons; forgives; atones-for; obliterates; abolishes) them. Then, I thought,What a clod (stupid-person)!”

send me

8.  Then the strength and power of God enabled me to hear the voice of the Lord, saying, I (Jehovah) have in mind who my strength and power as God shall send and who shall go-down-there (to the Earth; to the threshing floor; to the crushing process) on behalf of (for the sake of) us (our latter-day generation) . So, I replied, “Behold Me” (look and observe…I am here!) to go-down-there (be sent) for my generation.

9. So He (Jehovah) said (commanded; declared), “Go” (Make your way; Proceed; Betake yourself) and bring some incriminating evidence to light about (bear-forth; throw light upon; shed light upon; reveal; disclose; illuminate) the much-discussed matter of  “Authority” for  this foolish “bunch” (breed; species; family) of Mormons.   The testimonies of Mormon priesthood authorities are nothing but rumors (speculation; hearsay; gossip; talks) but they never explain (declare; admit; acknowledge; clarify) that to the people. Mormon “prophets seers and revelators” (as they refer to each other) claim to see (have visions of; prophecy) things, but Mormon priesthood authorities aren’t acquainted with (haven’t witnessed; aren’t familiar with; don’t see; don’t know; don’t understand; don’t check-out;  don’t study; don’t examine) anything about Jehovah for-themselves (personally; on their own).

get it

10. Behold the calloused (insensitive; indifferent; couldn’t- care-less; unsympathetic)  hearts (modes of thinking; attitudes) of these Latter-Day Melchizedek Priesthood leaders along with calloused (dulled; diminished) ears (capacity to ponder-things; capacity to meditate-over; capacity to think-deeply-about;  capacity to weigh-out-things; capacity to judge and evaluate-things)?……… Behold (look-at; notice; note; observe ) their troubled-look (burdened-look; oppressed-look). The eyes of this generation are closed, otherwise, they would see (recognize) with their own eyes and really hear (comprehend) with their own ears  (capacity to judge and evaluate-things) for themselves, then their hearts would understand (get-the-picture; understand the “real” meaning of the situation without the need for further explanation), then turn around (change course; return; repent) and be healed (restored to good mental/spiritual health) for the sake of their souls.

11. But, I asked (inquired; wanted to know), “Until when” (For how long; How much time do I need; How long will it take) Lord?”  Then, he said, “Until such time (until the time when)  the leadership of Salt Lake’s “Glue-factory” (mothering influence;  Melchizedek Priesthood Organization) lies-in-ruins (is completely dismantled), and their citadel (headquarters; command-center) is collapsed  (demolished; crumbled),  so there are no remains (remaining kings) in Salt Lake’s house (dynasty; lineage of hereditary rulers) because there are no more Edomites  (worldly Mormon leaders) for their land (culture; brotherhood; society; breeding) of “Authority” is ravaged (severely damaged; devastated) and Jehovah expels (banishes; exiles; deports; drives-out; throws-out) the human race  (“fallen-man”; mankind) so there’s a palpable (perceptible; unmistakable) sense of being forsaken (abandoned; disowned; forgotten; ignored) by God,  in the midst of the Mormon Church

13. Though yet, in the Mormon Church,  there remains a tenth (holy-part) working (longing; seeking; striving) toImage result for burned gif behold (receive; see) revelation (visions; great things) and are abiding (surviving; holding-out; enduring) to make sure that Salt Lake’s General Priesthood Authorities are disciplined by  burning (being-insulted; being treated with disrespect and scornful abuse). Like a Terebinth * (Pistachio-tree) or like an Oak tree that is cut-down (felled to the stump). The seed (heirs; descendants; posterity; scions) of holiness (saintliness; angelic-character) is in its stump (main-stem)  of the family-tree left projecting from the ground after most of the family-tree; (lineage; bloodline; dynasty; a line of hereditary rulers) has fallen or has been cut-down.

* Terebinth tree – The elah tree, most often translated as “terebinth”, bears the Latin name Pistacia palaestina, meaning it is related to the Image result for terebinth treepistachio tree. Many famous trees in the Hebrew Bible are terebinths, for example, the tree under which Jacob buried Laban’s idols (Gen. 35:4) and the tree in Orpah under which the angel who visited Gideon sat (Judg. 6:11). The most famous appearance of an elah in the Bible is the Valley of Elah where the battle of David and Goliath took place (1 Sam. 17). Presumably, the valley got its name due to a large number of elah trees that grew here in the past.
