Reading Isaiah’s Mind – Chapter 41 – verses 21 – 25

testimony
Bring all of your testimony and arguments before the judge! (Jehovah)

21. Bring-forth (bear; offer; present) all of your testimony (evidence; statements; grounds; premises; facts), saith the Lord (Jehovah). Notice (point out; pay attention to; observe; bear in mind;take into account; keep an eye on; discern) Salt Lake’s cover-up (pretense; dissembling; empty-show; facade; window-dressing; smokescreen; mish-mash) and the obfuscation (murkiness; vagueness; obscurity; avoidance; cloudiness) of the arguments (counter-statements; defense; rebuttal refutation; counter-logic; chain of reasoning; response) , declareth the Lord,  concerning the royalty (crowned-heads; aristocracy; royal family ; royal-house; dynasty; monarchy) of Jacob (fraud; deception; trickery; supplanting).

.

.

22. Jacob’s royalty (royal family; General Authorities) think to themselves, “Through Israel’s people we will exercise our muscle (clout; power to direct, shape and influence things; potency; zeal; driving energy and spirit) . They will provide the  sinews (strength;  guts) on behalf of (to benefit; acting for ; in the interest of) our presiding priesthood leadership. They will provide for us a smokescreen (a pretext; cover;  window- dressing; camouflage) to cover-up (hide) our criminal (immoral)  activities. Salt Lake’s leaders have in mind to escape (avoid; run away from; get away from; elude; evade) what is coming (will transpire; will happen; drawing near) to them.  Behold (examine very closely; pay attention to ; look at ) what these latter-day Mormon prophets are obliging (obligating; requiring; forcing; compelling ) Israel’s people to do, while this generation of Salt Lake’s presiding officers are naming (appointing;  calling; choosing) prophets , seers and revelators to direct the spiritual-developement of  our (Israel’s) offspring (posterity) as well as future generations of Salt lake practitioners (experts; wizards) of priestcraft (cunning; guile; wiliness; trickery; duplicity; sorcery; black magic) who are subjects of Salt Lake’s jurisdiction (their sons; their acolytes; their cup-bearers; their slaves; their flunkies; their foot-boys; their stooges)  and in fact, false-prophets who are summoning our generation of Israel’s people.

harnessing
harnessing = capitalizing on someone or something to further your self

23. Salt Lake’s prophets are harnessing (yoking; controlling; exploiting; capitalizing on; bridling)  Israel’s people to promote their own exaltation and and their exclusive connection with (access to;    ties to) Melchizedek priesthood authority  today and in the future, so this generation of Israel’s people must swear its oath of allegiance to Salt Lake’s general Authorities, as if Mormon General Authorities are Israel’s Gods (idols). Indeed, You (Israel’s people) must be “good”  (submissive;  agreeable; tractable; willing )  to  all of Salt Lake’s leaders because if you are not, then you are considered to be bad (evil; wicked; sinful) people, in their eyes (opinion; estimation) and thought to be an Israelite generation that has gone astray (has been deceived; is mistaken; has miscalculated; is barking up the wrong tree) and a generation altogether (on the whole; entirely) subservient and afraid.

.

.

24. Behold, to them,  you (Israel’s people) are less than nothing and to them, the works (deeds; services; undertakings) you perform are like the contributions of vipers (worthless) You are powerless, as far as they are concerned and unable to accomplish a thing. They look upon you as “detestable things” (abominations). They choose (select; devise;  plan; fancy; appoint; hand-pick; approve of; prefer) quandaries (dilemmas; harmful-situations; injurious circumstances; predicaments ) for you.

.

.

trample
Trampling their own  productions under their very feet

25. I (Jehovah) am stirred-up (excited; provoked; inflamed; incensed; impassioned) because of the  what is coming from the North (what is hidden,  dark and obscure) and it is accompanied by those who are called (appointed) in my name  and  bring with them prefects (local chief officers, local magistrates, or local leaders; Mormon Bishops;  Stake Presidents) in their quest (search) for ways to ferment  (leaven; arouse; give rise to ) practices and worship of men and things who are foreign (alien ; unfamiliar and unknown) and while they function as foreign men’s potters (producers; directors; managers; backers) they trample upon (walk all over) them.
