The Gods Of Babylon
1. Sigh (alas; Woe; an expression of lamentation; disaster) ……many of this generation of Israel’s
people are “bending the knee” (bowing-down; prostrating themselves) to Bel (“Failure”; “Nothing”; “Coming to nothing when the effort is given”; the Lord of the Babylonians).
They’re cowering (crouching down in fear) before “Nebo” (prophets of men; interpreters of deified men; declarers of the will of deified men)…church-idols….. fashioned by/for themselves on behalf of (for the benefit of) 
an “EVIL-BEAST” (“a Global Religious Institution”) and to further the purposes of behemoths (powerful priests in top-leadership positions in global religious institutions) continuing to the next generation to lay waste (destroy) all of you (Israel’s people).

2. The people (followers; devotees) 
stoop (bow; demean; debase) themselves and bend (turn; contort; bow) their own will (character; inclination; mind; passion) in order to unite themselves together (become a member of a “GREAT-WORLDWIDE CHURCH”; join a Global Religious Institution) without being able to escape from being “carried-away” (“swept off their feet”; “under a spell”), so (thus; in this way ) their souls are conditioned (habituated; adapted; prepared; accustomed) to captivity.

3. Listen to me (Jehovah), O’ House of Jacob (family of swindlers; lineage of defrauders; bloodline of liars)….all ye who are remnants (vestiges; remains; leftovers) of the Authority of Israel’s House (lineage; b
loodline; dynasty; line of hereditary rulers).
Ye who’ve been pointed-out (selected; hand-picked; chosen; called) to be-loaded-down (burdened; carry a heavy load) from your the tenderest years by religious-leaders (clergy; “Men Of The Cloth”) in high-places…..
…..ye who’ve been led-astray (beguiled; seduced) from the “innermost-part” (secret; most intimate component) of your souls by religious-leaders (clergy; “Men Of The Cloth”) in high places…..

Even (still; yet) into your old-age (senior years) and the graying (greying; salt and peppering; “loss” ) of your hair.
I (Jehovah) am the one who leads you (Israel’s people) to bear grief (bear the sins of others; suffer the consequences of the sins of others)
I, myself, requite (redress; remedy; set right) the overthrow (supplanting; overturn; ousting) of my authority, and I lead individuals who are inexperienced (immature; unschooled) to bear grief (bear the sins of others; suffer the consequences of the sins of others). I (Jehovah), steer (direct on a course; drive; control; urge-on; send) the rush (attack; assault; onslaught storm), then, I teach (lead) the way to escape (be delivered; be rescued) from it as if by slipperiness.

whom (or what) do you (“Men of the cloth”) ministering on behalf of Global Religious Institutions compare (measure a similarity) with me or assess as my equal?
To whom (what/which “Man of the Cloth”) will you liken me, so that Israel’s seed (descendants; offspring; children) may compare us (examine us in contrast).

Behold (look at all of them; watch all of them) itching (aching; feeling soreness and dull pain)to shine (twinkle; sparkle; shimmer) like “gold nuggets” …..(men whose value is the standard against which others are measured, chosen out of the contents of some mystical pouch (bag attached to God’s belt…….maybe or like silver coins they’ve weighed on a scale in order to reward their founder (creator).
Then
, they are made (fashioned) into Mighty-Priesthood Authorities (heroes; superstars; celebrities) for the people to bow down and worship.

7. Attache’s (diplomates; agents; Levites)
lift it (their idol; their graven image; their hero) “upon their shoulders” (as soon as they feel so inclined) and carry it around. They set (install; ceremoniously place in a new position of authority) their idol (“graven image”; icon; golden calf; “darling”; “beloved One”) in the designated place of (instead of) Israel’s seed (offspring; heirs; children posterity) and there it stands (remains; endures; prevails; “is in force”). From that “spot” (position of authority; exalted position), the idol cannot be moved (budged; reached).
Though worshippers (devotees; believers; followers; disciples) cry out unto it (their hero; their “graven”, i.e. impressive image; their idol), it isn’t moved by (responsive to) them. Their hero (“graven”, i.e. impressive image; idol) cannot save them from their troubles

(recall; treasure; summon to mind) the former (ancient; by-gone; past) things, ….those of long-ago (the Old Testament era).
I (Jehovah) am God, …. and ….. there is no one who can duplicate me, but there is also no cessation (end) of efforts to “subdue” (keep under control; tame; subjugate; repress; extinguish; crush) what has been secured (obtained; acquired) by my seed (Israel’s people)……

who are, by the way, the seed (offspring; posterity; children) cut (snipped; clipped) from the latter-day (contemporary; modern) remnant (remains; residue) of Israel’s dynastic (family; august; royal; regal; monarchical) authority.

11. and people who “herald” (proclaim; signal; announce) that the “Straight Way ” (direct course; straightforward path; honest way; fair policy) is about to become “mainstream” (dominant; standard).
The “Straight Way” is a means to prohibit (stop; invalidate; negate; countermand; contradict; cancel-out) the continuation, to the next generation, of “Global Religious Institutions” making (advancing; fulfilling) their own command to exercise my authority, so they may empower ( give the green light to) their own rise-upward (superiority; supremacy; dominance; preeminence) and “tame for the yolk” (complete and make ready for work) something (Israel’s posterity; Israel’s house) that gives me (Jehovah) great pleasure to teach the “Will Of God”.

12. Listen to me (Jehovah) ….ye who are “stubborn of heart” (doggedly determined not to change your attitude, in spite of good arguments and reasons to do so)….ye who are far (a long way) from righteousness.

13. My “RIGHTEOUSNESS” (goodness) is “at hand” (“a lot closer than you think”). I (Jehovah) am bringing forth (introducing; inaugurating; announcing presenting) “My” RIGHTEOUSNESS.
It isn’t remote (inaccessible; out of reach; unattainable) and my “Authorized-Deliverance” will not be delayed (procrastinated) for I am giving (granting) unto Zion (“Jehovah’s-Millennial-Kingdom”) deliverance (rescue; help; safety; salvation; victory) for Israel’s people. They are (constitute) my “Ark Of The Covenant”.*
* Ark (“gathering”; assembly; meeting) of the Covenant (confederacy; alliance; league) (Hebrew: אָרוֹן הַבְּרִית, modern: Arōn Ha’brēt, also known as the Ark of the Testimony, and in a few verses across various translations as the Ark of God, represents a chest (trunk; main stem) of a tree (family; lineage; bloodline dynasty; line of hereditary rulers) composed of the main (principle, most important) sinewy (tough) substance of which the tree (family; lineage; bloodline dynasty; line of hereditary rulers) is comprised, along with a lid (movable-cover), described in the Book of Exodus.

The biblical account relates that, approximately one year after the Israelites exodus from Egypt, the Ark was created according to the pattern given to Moses (to pull-out; to deliver) by God when the Israelites were encamped at the foot of Mount Sinai (The Administration Of Hatred). Thereafter, the golden chest (trunk; main-stem) made from the wood (principle, most important) sinewy (tough) substance coming from the tree (family; lineage bloodline; dynasty; line of hereditary rulers) made from the wood (principle, most important sinewy, tough) substance of Acacia (“Christ-like Humanity”) was carried by means of its staves (preventive rods; poles) while en route by the Levites (Israel’s agents; Israel’s ministers) approximately 2,000 cubits (approximately 800 meters or 2,600 feet) in advance of the people when on the march or before the Israelite army, the host of fighting men. When carried, the Ark was always hidden under a large veil made of skins and blue cloth, always carefully concealed, even from the eyes of the priests (Cohenim; holy-men) and the Levites (Israel’s ministers) who carried it. God was said to have spoken with Moses “under the powerful Chuppah “canopy-like) winged (protectiing; covering) influence of the two “cherubim” (beings of a sublime and heavenly nature) positioned upon the Ark’s cover. When at rest the tabernacle was set up and the holy Ark was placed in it under the veil of the covering, the staves (rods; poles) of it crossing the middle side bars to hold it up off the ground.
